Elizabeth Moreira, a resident of Pawtucket since 2012, brings a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the community. During her campaign for House District 58, she earned widespread recognition for her dedication to improving local neighborhoods and empowering residents. Now, she is excited to continue her work for the people of Pawtucket in her new role.

“I’ve always had a deep love for this community. Pawtucket is my home, and I’m honored to be working alongside Mayor Grebien to build on the progress we’ve made together,” said Moreira. “Our city deserves leadership that listens to its people, and I’m committed to making sure every voice is heard as we work toward a brighter future for Pawtucket.”

Mayor Grebien, who is seeking another term to continue his efforts in revitalizing Pawtucket, praised Moreira for her community-first approach and unwavering dedication to the city’s residents.

“I’ve seen Elizabeth’s passion for Pawtucket firsthand. She understands the challenges our community faces and is deeply committed to addressing them,” said Mayor Grebien. “Her energy and vision will be invaluable as we continue to move Pawtucket forward. I look forward to partnering with her on this campaign and beyond.”

The campaign transition comes as Lori Urso, Mayor Grebien’s former campaign manager, shifts her focus to her own run for Senate District 8. Urso expressed her gratitude to the Mayor and wished both him and Moreira continued success in their upcoming efforts.

Elizabeth Moreira’s appointment signals a strong step forward for Mayor Grebien’s campaign, reaffirming his administration’s dedication to collaboration and community-driven initiatives.
