Folk, soul, pop, electronica, rock, hip-hop, and jazz, are just some of the genres you might hear at any given FriYAY event. Curated by Scott Bishop, a New Bedford-based singer, songwriter, and sound sculptor, visitors hear local musicians play a two-hour set.

Hawk in the Nest

Hawk in the Nest is the music of singer-songwriter Avi Jacob Avi grew up in the New Bedford area but has gone on to tour internationally and win a 2022 New England Music Award. His main influences are Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, and 90’s R&B.
