Sen. Valarie Lawson to host US Senator Sheldon Whitehouse for East Providence small business visit
STATE HOUSE, Providence – State Senate Majority Whip Valarie J. Lawson will host US Senator Sheldon Whitehouse for a visit to a pair of local small businesses in East Providence on Monday.

The visit will take place on Monday, September 9 starting at 11:30 a.m. at Italian Corner Deli Market and continue to the Indoor Tennis Court for approximately 12:30 p.m.
“East Providence is home to a host of spectacular small businesses, and I look forward to highlighting a couple of great ones for Senator Whitehouse on Monday. The Italian Deli is a regular lunch spot for me. Their authentic Italian cuisine has drawn national acclaim and attracted celebrities including Guy Fieri. The Indoor Tennis Court is owned by East Providence resident Tom Brun. They have a long, storied history, and are about to celebrate their 110th anniversary,” said Senator Lawson.
