Upcoming: Vudu Sister
Vudu Sister is a gothic folk ensemble from Providence, RI. Fronted by Keith J.G. McCurdy and accompanied by violinist Diane O’Connor, their songs to sing in the dark are inspired by gothic horror, classical mythology, and dark fairy tales. They are influenced by early 90s grunge, gothic rock, and songwriters like PJ Harvey, and Chelsea Wolfe.
Their most recent album, Burnt Offerings, is a collection of Latin and Ancient Greek songs inspired by the poetry and myths of classical antiquity. Vudu Sister is hot off an extensive European tour and is currently working on a new album to be released sometime early next year.
