Application Period: June 1 – July 1, 2024

Mayor Donald R. Grebien

PAWTUCKET – Mayor Donald R. Grebien, the City of Pawtucket, the Pawtucket City Council, and the Pawtucket School Department have announced that they will be accepting applications for the Mayor’s Scholarship Program from June 1st to July 1st, 2024. The scholarship was established to help assist Pawtucket youth with college tuition costs and was funded through a generous grant that was kindly provided by the Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation and Revity Energy LLC.

“I’m truly excited to announce the continuation of our scholarship program for another year,” said Mayor Donald R. Grebien. “Prioritizing the education and well-being of our future generations is so important. I would like to thank Bristol County Savings Bank and Revity Energy for their ongoing partnership in supporting this program. I’m also so grateful for the collaborative efforts of the City Council and School Department in bringing this scholarship to fruition.”

“As an initial funder of the Mayor’s Scholarship Program six years ago, the Bank continues to be proud to support deserving students from the greater Pawtucket area as they enter the next stage of their academic life,” said Patrick Murray, President & CEO of Bristol County Savings Bank and President of the Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation.  “The Foundation places a particular emphasis on education and literacy within the communities we serve so you can see why we feel it’s vitally important to partner with the city on this initiative year after year.”

“Revity is honored to contribute to the Mayor’s Scholarship Program, empowering the ambitious youth of Pawtucket to reach for their educational dreams,” said Ralph Palumbo, President of Revity Energy. “We believe in the transformative power of education and are proud to invest in the future of these students. We are grateful for the chance to be a part of this initiative and support the aspirations of Pawtucket’s talented youth.”
