Museum of Work & Culture Hosts Seán Dagher for Sea Shanty Concert

Celebrated folk-singer to be featured in concert at the Museum of Work and Culture

(WOONSOCKET, R.I.) – The Museum of Work & Culture, a division of the Rhode Island Historical Society, is excited to announce Seán Dagher, a Sea Shanty Concert will be held on Friday, June 7th.

Dagher is an acclaimed singer and multi-instrumentalist from Montréal who specializes in all manner of folk songs. He is most well-known for his YouTube series “Shanty of the Week” and his recordings used in the video game Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. He has also played with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal and composed for theatre and video games.

The concert will begin at 7 pm, with a pre-concert party featuring beer and pizza beginning at 6 pm. Concert-only tickets are $25 and concert and party tickets are $40. Tickets are currently available on rihs.simpletix.com.
