TUESDAY: FALL RIVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS & IGNITE READING TO SHOWCASE VIRTUAL LITERACY TUTORING PROGRAM AND ANNOUNCE STUDENT READING GAINS

Nationally Recognized High-Dosage Tutoring Program Teaches Students To Read At More Than Twice The Rate Expected In Traditional Classrooms With No Achievement Gaps

FALL RIVER – Tuesday, Ignite Reading will host a showcase and demonstration of its one-to-one, virtual-powered literacy tutoring program at Henry Lord Community School in Fall River. The demo will be followed by a Q&A and panel discussion with Ignite Reading leaders, school officials, and participating students.

Ignite Reading pairs students with expert virtual tutors who deliver daily, 15-minute, Science of Reading-based instruction to target specific literacy decoding gaps and teach students to become confident, independent readers. 

In addition to serving over 4,300 students in more than 20 districts across Massachusetts, Ignite Reading is teaching students to read in districts across 13 states this year.
