Pirates and Pirate Hunters
Friends of Pomham Rocks Lighthouse is hosting a presentation by Luca Rebussini on the history of pirates and pirate hunters in the waters of Rhode Island.
The discussion will take place on Monday, March 11 in the program room at Weaver Library, 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence.
Join us for light snacks and an opportunity to socialize from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, with a degree in history and secondary education, Luca is a sixth-grade social studies teacher in the Pawtucket school system.
His long-time interest in pirates and research on their history and stories evolved into a program to share with others.
Join us for an enjoyable voyage on the high seas. Registration is not required, but seating is limited.
