Ashley R. Silveira of Seekonk awarded Global Citizenship International Internship scholarship at Saint Michael’s College
COLCHESTER, VT (Grassroots Newswire) – Ashley R. Silveira of Seekonk was one of 16 Saint Michael’s College students recently selected to receive a Global Citizenship International Internship scholarship, which is funded by a grant through the Freeman Foundation. Silveira is a member of the Saint Michael’s College Class of 2026 majoring in Sociology & Anthropology and International Relations and minoring in English.
The scholarship program, which is run through the College’s Center for Global Engagement, will place selected students in internships in Seoul, South Korea and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam during the summer of 2024 with help from The Education Abroad Network. Saint Michael’s College is one of only 30 colleges and universities across the U.S. to receive an annual grant from the Freeman Foundation to support this internship program.
