Linden Place Mansion Open for Holiday Tours this Week!

BRISTOL— Linden Place Mansion’s doors are open for a festive celebration of the season! Holiday-themed tours throughout the month offer visitors a glimpse of the kind of gracious holiday celebrations that have taken place at the mansion.
Visitors to the 1810 mansion can take in the historic landmark’s decked-out halls through December 30th. “In the more than 200 years since Linden Place was built, Christmas has evolved from a quiet, religious holiday to a retail extravaganza,” said Susan Battle, Linden Place’s executive director.

“This year, we wanted to give people an opportunity to take a break from the holiday’s hectic pace, relax for a few minutes, and return to the simple beauty and joys of the season.” Tours are $12, $10 for seniors and students, and free for children and members.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. Museum and Gift Shop hours are Tuesdays through Fridays, 10 am-4 pm, and Saturdays, 12 pm-4 pm.
