Good Morning,
Friends of the Ten Mile River Watershed will be kicking off 2024 with a First Day Hike along the upper Ten Mile River. We will meet at Telford Park on route 1A in Plainville at 11:00 AM.
From there, we will hike for about 2 miles along the uppermost reaches of the Ten Mile River as it begins its journey to Narragansett Bay. We will view an extensive floodplain with wetlands, walk an old rail line, and visit Fullers Pond.
This is an easy walk. Sturdy shoes are required. Please dress for the weather. We hope that you will hike into 2024 with us. Happy Holidays!
