Meet URCC Board Member
Kate Hyde
We would like to introduce you to URCC Board Member Kate Hyde. Kate has been a welcome addition to our board because she has great ideas and never hesitates to volunteer – a trait oh so important for board members. She is an active member of our board, and we are lucky to have her!
Kate started her career in hotels after graduating college and from there, she has worked in numerous sales positions across multiple brands. Kate is passionate about how revenue management plays a key role in the success of a hotel and started a career with Marriott Corporate in June of 2023 as a Revenue Manager in Revenue Management Advisory Services at Marriott International.
Kate has also been involved in several chambers of commerce – starting off as a volunteer in a summer internship for the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce while in college. From there, she always joined the local chambers in the towns where she has worked.
Opening URCC member SpringHill Suites/TownePlace Suites in Wrentham/Plainville in 2020, Kate immediately reached out to the chamber for the help and support they offered to local businesses during the shutdown.
Knowing how vital this support network is to many local businesses, she joined the Board of Directors to help promote and assist the chamber with its many roles within its communities. of Directors to help promote and assist the chamber in its myriad of roles within the community.
