All are welcome to see how mapping trees can inform planning for everything from flood prevention, extreme heat mitigation and asthma protection.
EP Urban Forest is hosting experts from the Green Infrastructure Center (of Virginia) who analyze tree cover, both private and public, visualize the data into maps and give recommendations on new tree planting goals and policy over the next 15 years. Come see an example of their amazing maps, (of East Providence) ask questions, and give your input.
