Do you know someone passionate about youth empowerment and making a difference in the lives of BIPOC teens? RICJ is excited to announce a full-time Youth Empowerment AmeriCorps VISTA position with paid living stipend and benefits. As a culturally aware VISTA, you will work with our programs for high school-aged youth, engaging with schools, nonprofits, alumni, parents, and anyone who can support teens. You will help to prepare inclusive leaders and collaborate in creating an exciting multicultural community.
As part of a dedicated team, you will work alongside our Director of Youth Programs, Youth Programs Coordinator, youth staff, interns, and volunteers. One year postition that can be extended. This is an excellent opportunity to help to prepare Rhode Island’s next generation of social justice leaders.

RICJ fights bias and racism and builds understanding through programs in youth leadership, juvenile justice and diversity education. RICJ prepares teens as inclusive leaders through a summer leadership camp, summer jobs and (during the school year) a youth-led after school program and a young women’s mentoring program.
