International Literacy Day
A weeklong celebration hosted by The Literacy Center September 4th – 9th, 2023
“International Literacy Day is celebrated each year to remind the public of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights, and to advance the literacy agenda towards a more literate and sustainable society.”
Experts in immigration discuss the current migrant crisis and the status of immigration in the Commonwealth. Opening remarks will be provided by Mayor Cathleen DeSimone.
