Quonset Business Park has hundreds of acres dedicated to recreation, preserving our rich history and protected open spaces. Now that it’s officially summer, there’s no better time to take advantage of the amenities that Quonset has to offer.
Quonset has four public beaches where visitors can take in the magic of Narragansett Bay. Blue Beach is a small beach with sand dunes, featuring a stunning view of the Jamestown Bridge. Compass Rose Beach is a dog-friendly beach located off Roger Williams Way. Spink’s Neck Beach is a narrow stretch of sand by Little Allen Harbor, an active working waterfront. Calf Pasture Point Beach sits at the end of the North Kingstown Bike Path and serves as a natural habitat that is home to many species of wildlife, sea life, and waterfowl. If you’re looking to enjoy a day by the water, you can’t go wrong at Quonset.
If you’d rather stay active, Quonset is home to the North Kingstown Golf Course, one of the best public courses in the state. Come play eighteen holes or hit a bucket of balls at the driving range. The Park also offers two connected bike paths: the 2.3-mile-long Quonset Bike Path and the 1.25-mile-long North Kingstown Bike Path. These paths take riders from Post Rd. all the way to Narragansett Bay. Quonset is proud to provide public spaces for Rhode Islanders to enjoy the outdoors.
