RIDE: RHODE ISLAND DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

SurveyWorks Results Released

Angélica Infante-Green

Recently, we released the final results of our annual SurveyWorks, the administration of our school culture survey for students, families, educators and administrators. The results were impressive. This year, we had the highest response rate ever from administrators, educators and families, with a focus on family engagement. Student response rates also returned to pre-pandemic levels.

Providence also saw major improvements; the family engagement average was higher than the rest of the state, and teachers had positive feedback about high quality curriculum materials and school leadership. A special shoutout to the Sgt. Cornel Young, Jr. & Charlotte Woods Elementary School and 360 High School for their amazing work!

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who attended our annual State of Education event Thursday night. We had a great turnout and were thrilled to showcase so many fantastic projects happening here at RIDE. Thank you to the RIDE team for putting it together, but also to Davies Career & Tech students for catering the event and Providence Career & Technical Academy students for printing the event programs.
