Galen has been a Paper Montage maker for over a dozen years. Her medium of “painting with paper” is only that-paper and glue.
The demonstration held here at the gallery will include an explanation of the origin of the process, the learning curve, the diverse paper choices and why; the necessary layering, the choice of subject- how it is often built up in her hand-among the other zillion things that will come up. Questions are encouraged.

Anne Holtermann is an American painter, who lives and works in Westport Point after over 30 years of living in Europe. Her paintings are purely abstract, but with a constant eye on the natural world around her; the influence and change of light, the shift of a pattern, a growth, a decay. The simple gestures, colors and forms play off one another in a harmonious moment creating a work of art.
