KATE PRASCHER AND COMPANY AT STONE SOUP COFFEEHOUSE

Kate Prascher and Company at Stone Soup Coffeehouse Providence –

Kate Prascher will be performing at Stone Soup Coffeehouse on Saturday, May 20, 2023. The show starts at 7pm. Tickets are $20, and are available at the door or reserved through our website.

Please appear at least 15 minutes before the performance begins, or you will relinquish your tickets to those waiting to attend.

When artist Kate Prascher sent a note asking if she could be considered for a spot at Stone Soup Coffeehouse in the summer or 2022, I did what most booking coordinators do. I sent back a note saying thank you and I will listen to what you sent to me and get in touch if we are interested.

I do listen to at least one video an artist sends, and at that moment, I had some time. I listened to one, and then another, and then another.

And then I contacted Kate and booked her for our last show in May of 2023. I also had the pleasure of seeing Kate perform solo at one of the NERFA 2022 showcases last November in Asbury Park, NJ.

Kate has a beautiful, almost ethereal quality to her voice and is an equally gifted songwriter.

The Bandcamp Diaries have this to say about Kate and her new EP Bright Like This: “Fans of artists as diverse as Gillian Welch and Lucinda Williams are going to love this one especially because of the lyrical depth that Kate is able to bring to the table.”

Kate will be joined by bandmates Jason Borisoff on guitar and Andrew Ryan on bass.

Parking at The Music Mansion at 88 Meeting St, Providence, RI 02906 is limited and carpooling, ride-sharing, and mass transit are highly encouraged.

There is also available parking on Benefit Street, a short set of stairs will lead you right up to the Music Mansion.
