Attleboro Historical Society Program 4/29
Dear Friends,
Our program is just ONE WEEK AWAY!
Please join us in promoting the Attleboro Historic Preservation Society’s FREE upcoming program:
Revolutionary Upheaval:
1774 Attleborough Solemn League and Covenant
by Dr. Samuel A. Forman
Saturday, April 29, 2023 @ 2:00 PM
Oldtown Church (First Congregational)
675 Old Post Road in North Attleboro, MA.
Dr. Forman will present his research on Joseph Warren, the seeds of the American Revolution, and the rare 1774 document: Attleborough’s Solemn League and Covenant.
Samuel A. Forman is an historian and Harvard University faculty member. He is educated in the history of the American Revolution as well as the practice of clinical and preventive medicine.
Throughout his successful careers as physician, military officer and businessperson, he has published and lectured on historical topics that inform current issues. Forman’s ambitious debut was the award-winning non-fiction American Founder’s biography Dr. Joseph Warren – The Boston Tea Party, Bunker Hill, and the Birth of American Liberty [Pelican].
