Dear Neighbor,
It has been an incredible first 100 days since I took office, and I am thrilled to share some of our accomplishments with you.
We’ve appointed our first Latino Chief of Police in the city’s history and the first Chief of the Fire Department in seven years. We’ve been hard at work hiring an incredible team to help lead the work ahead.
Together, we have started to tackle critical issues like community safety, improving the local quality of life, and increasing out-of-classroom education opportunities— all with your support along the way!
All that we have accomplished during these 100 days could not have been possible without the engagement and commitment of our incredible Providence community.
There is much more to be done, and I am excited about the road ahead. Thank you, and let’s keep working together to make Providence the best-run city in America.
