YOUR library has something for everyone!
Letter from the Director
It must be March in New England since I have daffodils in the office while winter weather alerts buzz on our phones. Attleboro’s Community Garden is very much looking forward to Spring, holding their annual plot registration in the library on Saturday, March 11. We also had visits from Garden Club members this week, making plans for the library gardens. We’ll need help with watering before too long. Please reach out if you’d like to help.
The library has been filled with visitors lately, often over 300 people daily! Some visitors are here donating pajamas to the PJ Drive, others are picking up tax forms, and others have been enjoying library offerings during school vacation.
Study rooms have been busy and the game and puzzle collections are seeing increased attention. We even had a special visitor add some color to the Library entrance by adding Lenten roses and pansies to the new planter!
That simple act of kindness has added so many smiles to the neighborhood.
The March calendar is bringing new programs to the library, including virtual tours of National Park Services sites in Massachusetts, an introduction to the Attleboro Land Trust, and many others you’ll find listed below and online.
Whatever the weather brings us, we hope you stop by to visit and explore the many opportunities your library offers. Staff love to hear your suggestions and are often able to incorporate those ideas into future programs.
