Celebrating National School Counseling Week February 6-10

 

February is upon us and we are nearing the start of National School Counseling Week! From February 6-10, we will focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors across Rhode Island. These integral members of our education system have a new realm of responsibility, and we are grateful for the tremendous impact they have on Rhode Island students.

 

While we honor our school counselors, please know RIDE is committed to addressing challenges facing our school communities statewide, including improving the counselor to student ratio.

 

Together, let’s recognize the counselors who go above and beyond for their students, mentor their peers, and are woven into their school communities.
