for our 2023 Land Steward Apprenticeship
“Once upon a time apprenticeship was the primary form of education available to a person, whatever the field – medicine, music, cobbler, or scholar.”
Our 7-month seasonal program specifically targets those with a pioneering spirit and a sincere commitment to conservation and regenerative agriculture.
Apprentices are required to work 20 hours per week from April – October 2023.
Hours must be completed over 3-5 workdays and may be scheduled on a weekly basis in order to accommodate weather along with personal and professional schedules.
Apprentices can expect 140 direct contact hours over an seven-month season (or approximately 5 hours per week) with Mark and/or Katherine.
Apprentices are expected to work independently for the remaining required hours.

Some experience with growing plants
