Pawtucket Arts Collaborative (PAC) and Pawtucket Foundation to host 15th Annual Pawtucket Foundation Prize Exhibition
The Pawtucket Arts Collaborative (PAC) and the Pawtucket Foundation announce the 15th year of this highly regarded, juried art exhibition – the Pawtucket Foundation Prize Exhibition. This year’s Juror is Victoria Gao.
Entries will be accepted from January 1st, 2023 through midnight of February 28th, 2023.
The opening is Thursday, March 23rd, 2023. Show will run through April 30th, 2023.
CALL TO ARTISTS
Unthemed Show open to all artists, in all media, 2-D, and 3-D. The juror this year is Victoria Gao.
$1000 Pawtucket Foundation Prize and PAC 2nd place prize of $250 and 3rd place $100 awarded at the opening.
ACCEPTING ONLINE SUBMISSIONS ONLY
January 1st, 2023 through Midnight February 28th, 2023.
Digital submissions only. Max submission 2 pieces, submission fee for PAC Members $15 for one piece, $20 for two. Non-PAC Members $18 for one piece, $23 for two.
Artwork must not exceed 60” and must be able to fit through double doors. PAC has limited pedestals but encourages artists to provide them if able.
Digital/multi-media work will need to take out additional insurance for equipment. Accepted work must be hand delivered and picked up from the gallery.

ABOUT THE JUROR
Victoria Gao
Victoria Gao has been serving as the Director of the Bannister Gallery and Exhibitions at Rhode Island College since 2018.
She was born in Providence, Rhode Island, to Chinese immigrant parents and grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia. She received her PhD and MA in Visual and Cultural Studies from the University of Rochester and her BA in Physics and in Art History from Cornell University.
Victoria has always had a longstanding interest in curating and in art exhibition spaces and has previously interned at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
In addition to managing the Bannister Art Gallery, she also oversees the Rhode Island College Permanent Artwork Collection and adjunct teaches art history courses.
GETTING TO THE PAWTUCKET ARTS COLLABORATIVE
The PAC Mill Gallery located at 560 Mineral Spring Ave 1st floor behind Mixed Magic Theater and the Miss Lorraine Diner. Ample parking along the side of the building with a sculpture garden in the back. Enter at the side door and up one flight of stairs, follow signs- take a left we are at the end of the hall to the right. For those that are dropping off large pieces, there is a ramp at the front entrance as well as accessible parking.
