HERCI MARSDEN’S – COPPELIA

The State Ballet of Rhode Island – Coppelia

It’s season 63 — Come Celebrate with us Thanksgiving Weekend!

Reunite with family, alumni, dancers and friends and enjoy the humor and beauty Coppelia has to offer.

“There’s a New Girl in Town”:

Rebecca DeVivo (in pink) promoted to Principal Dancer, takes the stage as Swanhilda on Friday at 2pm, Principal Dancer Ashley Pabon (in purple) dances Swanhilda on Saturday at 2pm and Principal Guest Artist Josh Thake plays the role of Franz, but could play the role of Swanhilda (Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo).

The State Ballet of Rhode Island is happy to be back at the Historic Park Theatre to ring in the holiday season with this comedic love story. Grab a drink prior to the performance at the theater with your friends, family and fellow SBRI Alumni. This is a great time to reminisce about seasons past– and your memories with The State Ballet of Rhode Island.

“Who Would Have Thought!” Managing Director of New Mexico State University Theatre Arts/American Southwest Theatre Company, Principal Guest Artist Wil Kilroy will perform the role of Dr. Coppelius.

It is hard to believe that in 1981, Wil took the stage in SBRI’s production of Coppelia at which time Herci Marsden and Ana Marsden Fox performed the role of Swanhilda.

TICKETS $36 (includes fees) for Adults, Senior Citizens & Children ages 4 & up.
