QUONSET POINTS – RHODE ISLAND READY

The Quonset Development Corporation Board of Directors approved three more sites for enrollment in the Rhode Island Ready program during their August meeting. Since the application process is on a rolling basis, RI Ready expects to present even more applicants to the board for approval in the latter half of the year. The new sites are located at:

9 Dexter Road, East Providence

195 Francis Avenue, Cranston

1347 Roger Williams Way, North Kingstown

Those sites join five previously enrolled locations in Cranston, Johnston, North Kingstown, Pawtucket, and West Warwick. Rhode Island Ready is a $40 million statewide site readiness initiative modeled after Quonset’s successful site readiness program.

Site readiness at Quonset has generated more than 3,500 jobs and $664 million in private investment at the business park across 14 developed sites and 36 companies in the last decade.
