Dear Patron,
As our fiscal year comes to a close on August 31, we are reflecting on some of the brightest moments of the last 12 months. This week we are proud to highlight a big year for our Community Engagement programs!
After a year of preparation, FBP launched ProviDANCE Afterschool Program in October 2021. Right out of the gate, the program had full enrollment of 60 students taking afterschool dance classes at two Providence schools. An additional group of 13 rides the Ballet Bus each week, gaining advanced training and afterschool mentorship.
Your support drives the Ballet Bus!
Discover Dance brought more than 2,000 students to experience our brand-new production of The Nutcracker at the Vets in December, showcasing the magic of live performance and introducing students to the art of dance.
Additional in-school residencies and workshops are connected to the academic dance and art curriculum to expose, engage and inspire students.
Donations received* between September 1, 2021, and August 31, 2022, will be recognized in our Season Playbill, so lock in your giving level and help us create impactful art within the community!
Tax deductible donations can be made securely online, by phone at 401-432-6064 or by sending a check payable to Festival Ballet Providence to 825 Hope St., Providence, RI 02906.
*Donors with cumulative giving above $100 are listed in the playbill. Contact the development office by e-mailing
