Providence, RI. Providence Pirates are looking for talented players in Rhode Island and bordering states to fill its 2022-23 roster.
We are ONLY two days away from the Open Tryout! (August 20).
This might be your final chance to make the Pirates roster.
Pirates will be searching for talented players to gear up for another competitive ABA season. The team will be playing teams from New England, NY, NJ, DE, and PA as they compete in very strong ABA Northeast Region.
“We are looking for players who can not only be a good fit on the court but also off the court,” said Pirates President/CEO Sercan Fenerci. “We are leveling up on all aspects of our organization with new initiatives by ABA nationally and we put internally,” added Fenerci.
In its inaugural season, the Pirates compiled an impressive 16-4 record and first round playoff home game. Pirates are looking to make a stronger run this year.
Fenerci also added “We care about the community as we involved in numerous community events last year and looking forward to getting involved even more this season.”
Pirates will begin official practice late September and the first game will tip off in November.
