Fighting Summer Hunger!
Did you know there are over 80 sites across Rhode Island where children 18 and under can have fun and enjoy a tasty, nutritious meal at no cost this summer?
We recently stopped by the City of Central Falls’ Veteran’s Memorial Park where students were cooling off at the nearby splash park and enjoying delicious fajitas.
RIDE is proud to be partnering with 14 communities as part of the Summer Food Service Program to make sure children do not go hungry during the summer break.
Help us spread the word about this wonderful program. Families can call 2-1-1 to find a meal site near them!
