This coming Saturday is Keep Attleboro Beautiful Day.
Friends of the Ten Mile and Bucklin Brook will be doing a cleanup along Collins Pond and Sweden Swamp on Collins Street in South Attleboro.
The water here serves as the headwaters of Bucklin Brook and is also part of the Ten Mile Watershed, flowing to the Seven Mile River through Sweden Swamp Brook.
As far as I know, a cleanup has never been done in this area.
Bring water and gloves.
We will work for about 2 hours beginning at 10:00 AM.
We will meet on Collins Street where it crosses the narrows between Collins Pond and Sweden Swamp.
