Audition for Teatro en el Verano

Teatro en el Verano, produced by Rhode Island Latino Arts (RILA) in association with Trinity Rep, is looking for non-AEA, Latinx performers for this year’s production of La Mancha.

Seeking 8–10 male and female non-union actors; must be age 18 or older. Actors should be fluent in English and/or Spanish.

 

Stipend for each performer is $1,500.

AUDITION DATES:
Monday, April 18, 6-8pm • Tuesday, April 19, 6–8pm
Location: Trinity Rep, 46 Aborn St., Providence RI 02903
Rehearsal: June 7 to July 3 | Eight total performances throughout July

Audition Requirements:

 

For in-person auditions, please reserve a slot by emailing auditions@rilatinoarts.org. Each audition slot should last about five minutes.

 

Please prepare two monologues (or poems) in Spanish, English, or a mix

 

You may also perform one minute of a song, piece of music, or a beat (there will not be an accompanist, so you will have to provide your own backup or sing a capela).

 

If you can’t make the in-person audition, you may also submit a video audition.
