Attleboro Land Trust Volunteer Opportunities
The Attleboro Land Trust will be working on the maintenance of its nature preserves this month and can use your help. Clean-ups will be held on each of the next three Saturdays, April 16, 23, and 30, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
This Saturday, April 16, the clean-up will be at the Colman Reservation on Steere Street. The locations for the April 23 and 30 clean-ups will be announced.
For the April 16 clean-up, volunteers should meet at the Colman parking lot, 186 Steere Street.
Maintenance activities will include:
–Picking up litter along the street
–Installation of a signpost
–Trimming overhanging branches along trails
We will have some tools, but if you have your own pruning tools, please bring them.
Trash bags will be provided.
Please bring your own:
— Work gloves
— Water
Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
