A towering Christmas tree framed by a Gothic conservatory, elegant decorations on every mantle and in every nook and cranny these are just a few of the many delights that await you this Christmas season at Linden Place Mansion in downtown Bristol, Rhode Island. For the first time in two years, the mansion’s parlors, bedrooms, and magnificent conservatory are magnificently transformed for your enjoyment. This final week of December, the mansion will be open for self-guided tours through Thursday, December 30th
On Wednesday, December 29 at 5pm and 6pm, get a glimpse of Christmas past at Linden Place Mansion’s Candlelight Tour. As you stroll through the decorated mansion rooms of the 1810 Federal home, you will learn all about the five generations of the DeWolf-Colt families who lived here and how Christmas was celebrated in Bristol in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
During the one-hour guided tour, you are surrounded by elegant decorations on every mantle and in every nook and cranny, a towering Christmas tree in the Gothic conservatory, all candlelit for the perfect holiday feel. Bring the family for an evening you won’t forget! Festive refreshments will be served.

FRIENDS OF LINDEN PLACE is a non-profit organization responsible for the restoration and preservation of Linden Place, an 1810 Federal period mansion located in the center of downtown Bristol, RI. The Linden Place organization offers cultural, artistic, and educational programs in the RI community.
