A Message from Our Director
The question of the moment is, “WHEN is the library going to open?”
We want to know, too!
As of Wednesday morning, September 29, we anticipate being open next week.
We still have no sidewalk, or stairs, but we’re told they will be here very soon.
While you patiently wait for the doors to open, we hope you’ve enjoyed the behind the scenes pictures we’ve been posting on our Facebook page
If you are waiting to return items, you can return them to any of the other SAILS libraries, and they will be returned to us once we reopen.
Staff have been busy preparing for you, and we hope you like the changes. We are finishing a technology upgrade and are certain you’ll enjoy the newer, faster computer speeds when that project is complete.
We’ve also moved all of our movies to the third floor, so patrons will be able to browse films, documentaries, and TV series all at once and in the same place.
We expect to be able to open more nights again in a few weeks. Please watch our website and social media pages for the most up-to-date information.
Thank you again for your continued patience and support while we navigate the many changes 2021 has brought to the library. We can’t wait to see you in the building soon!
