BRIGHTER FUTURES LUNCHEON
Family Service of Rhode Island announced that Cooley Group will be the lead sponsor of this year’s Brighter Futures Luncheon, now pivoted to a virtual event on October 26, 2021, recognizing the Honorable Gina Raimondo for her work on behalf of children and families in Rhode Island.
The event was pivoted to virtual as the Delta Variant of COVID-19 continues to affect Rhode Island. Originally planned as a hybrid event at Agawam Hunt Club on September 27, warnings from health officials prompted a shift to online in an effort to stop the spread.
“We had high hopes to see everyone in person this year, but we had to change plans to keep our community healthy and safe,” said Margaret Holland McDuff, CEO at FSRI. “Serving on Family Service of Rhode Island’s Board of Directors, Cooley Group’s Dan Dwight has continually stepped up for our organization. We are happy to partner together in our commitment families and communities across Rhode Island.”
FSRI has partnered again with award-winning local production company Steer Forward to create a highly engaging, interactive event that will inspire and delight.
All funds raised go to support FSRI’s work to strengthen Rhode Island families – particularly this year’s work to find safe and loving homes for kids during the continuing COVID pandemic through foster care.
Sponsors and guests can still register for the event and attend virtually on October 26th at www.brighterfuturesri.org
