RIMA to Host Manufacturers and Congressional Summit SMITHFIELD, RI – The Rhode Island Manufacturers Association (RIMA) will be holding their annual Manufacturers and Congressional Summit on August 23rd 2021.
The event will be held at the Marriott, on 1 Orms Street in Providence. Networking starts at 7:30 AM. This gathering hosts the opportunity to discuss the issues that are facing Manufacturers in today’s world with Rhode Island’s Congressional Leaders.
As the business community emerges from the pandemic, this event provides an opportunity for manufacturers and business owners to engage with their state representatives about various issues on the state and local level. The event will include a panel featuring Rhode Island Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse. Congressman David Cicilline of District 1 and Congressman Jim Langevin of District 2 will also be part of the panel. Dave Chenevert,the Executive Director of RIMA will moderate the panel during the Q&A session.
The event will conclude with a meet and greet for attendees with the congressional delegation. Individual tickets are $55 for RIMA Members and $65 for Non-Members.
