– The Weaver Library Farmers’ Market will be open from 4 -7pm on Thursday, August 5, 2021 for a great afternoon of shopping fresh, local foods, seeing neighbors, and enjoying live music. From all the fresh local produce to the delicious baked goods, the Market has something for everyone.
This week’s market features classical music with the Haven Summer Music Ensemble at 4pm. The amazing steel drummer and vocalist Becky Bass performs at 5pm. MaxMan, RI’s recycling superhero, makes an appearance too.
Color Wild Creations will be at the Pop-up Artisan booth. Don’t miss weekly vendor We Be Jammin’ whose line of jams, salsas, sauces, and condiments has made many fans at the market!
The Friends of the East Providence Public Library continue their popular weekly book sale with a special offer of a free soft cover book for all children.
The Market continues to prioritize food access. The Welcome Table accepts SNAP/EBT, WIC Coupons, Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program coupons, and credit or debit cards. Thanks to a grant from Farm Fresh RI, SNAP customers can double their SNAP. For every dollar swiped, SNAP customers get a FREE dollar in Bonus Bucks for fruits and vegetables.
