EAST PROVIDENCE: WEAVER LIBRARY FARMERS MARKET

JOIN US THURSDAY JULY 1, 2021

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Weaver Library Farmers Market will be open from 4 -7pm on Thursday, July 1, 2021 for a great afternoon of shopping fresh, local foods, seeing neighbors, and enjoying live music by 2 Cat Tango, a fun 4-piece combo from southern RI.

Local foods and products at the market include vegetables, fruit, fish, salsa, pickles, baked goods, honey, jams, granola, plants, candles, soaps, hot sauce, and more.

Pop’s All Beef Hot Dogs will be serving his famous hot dogs too.

New for 2021 is a pop-up artisan booth. This week features “Sparkles and Glow” by Yvonne, an artisan who believes in uplifting women with the sale of her bags and candles.

Books are back at the Farmers’ Market in 2021! The Friends of the East Providence Public Library will be hosting a weekly book sale providing books for all ages and interests. Hard and soft cover books will be available for $1 and children’s and young adult books will be $.50 each.

All children are welcome to choose a free soft cover book to take home.

The Market continues to prioritize Food Access with the Welcome Table accepting SNAP/EBT, WIC Coupons, Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program coupons, and credit or debit cards. Thanks to a grant from Farm Fresh RI, SNAP customers can double their SNAP.

For every dollar swiped, SNAP customers get a FREE dollar in Bonus Bucks for fruits and vegetables.
