From Poseidon to Paper

From Poseidon to Paper is the culmination of a 5-week program featuring 7th graders at Our Sisters’ School (OSS) who created works of art from various types of pressed seaweed. From learning about algae to creating their own homemade presses, students laid out unique designs with seaweed and embellished them with watercolors or other additions.
From Poseidon to Paper will be on view at NBAM throughout this summer in conjunction with DATMA’s Water 2021 series.
