RIMOSA: ESCHER “TESSELLATIONS”

Hands-On “Drink & Draw” Program for Adults – M.C. Escher “Tessellations”

Providence, RI: The Rhode Island Museum of Science & Art (RIMOSA) is thrilled to announce an upcoming event; Hands-On “Drink & Draw” Program for Adults – M.C. Escher “Tessellations” on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 6 PM.  This virtual program is open to adults only, 21+.  This event can be enjoyed with or without adult beverages and is BYOB!

Join us on Zoom for a brief discussion on the art of M.C. Escher – especially his tessellations (a type of art made by repeating shapes that cover the page like tiles).  Then, the group will create their own tessellations using an easy technique lead by the RIMOSA Educator.   No prior art experience or talent necessary! We expect the program to end by 7pm.
