RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE: LUSOPHONE REVIEW

YEAR IN REVIEW: 2020 ACTIVITIES OF THE INSTITUTE FOR PORTUGUESE AND LUSOPHONE WORLD STUDIES AT RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE

Dear Friends,

2020 was a year of many challenges and adjustments, but the focus on our students and the community remained strong. RIC students demonstrated resilience, compassion and achievement amidst a global healthcare crisis; and our collaboration with regional, national and international partners and organizations intensified.

Please enjoy the highlights of 2020, and thank you for your continued support of Portuguese at Rhode Island College! On behalf of the Institute’s Administration, Community Advisory Board, Faculty Advisory Council and Student Interns, we wish you a healthy and hopeful 2021!

Dr. Sílvia Oliveira, IPLWS Director
