Rhode Island Business Competition “Business Plan Development” Workshop is January 7th
The Rhode Island Business Competition’s workshop “Business Plan Development” will be held on Thursday, January 7th at 5:00 pm hosted virtually by Venture Café.
Our presenter is Dr. Ezenwayi Amaechi, an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Management Department at Johnson & Wales University, where she also serves as the Faculty Consultant at the Entrepreneurship (eCenter) Center.
She is also the Founder and the Executive Director of Micro Enterprise Social Entrepreneurship (MESE), a mission-based social enterprise business with the aim to offer holistic support to women and youth in developing nations.
This interactive workshop will detail all the different aspects of a business plan, including background and financial information, goals of the business, and description of how the business will be a success.
A business plan is a critical document because it showcases the entrepreneur’s passion and desire to launch and grow a viable business.
It can be a tricky task to complete a business plan, especially for a startup when several questions still need to be answered, so this is a worthwhile workshop that will provide the resources an entrepreneur needs as well as an understanding of how to create an investor-ready business plan.
