Dear Friend,
All of us and our friends, back in the days when we could gather together for community dinners in person. Photo by Erin X. Smithers
It has been a hell of a year, but there is still so much to be thankful for here at The Wilbury Group
We are thankful for the incredibly talented artists and collaborators who share their talents with us and make The Wilbury Group their home, the audiences who come out to see our work (even a pandemic), and to all of the donors and supporters who make our very existence possible.
We believe that theatre is a wonderful source of entertainment, and that it can also be an important and unique way to engage our community in conversations around ideas that matter. And it’s because of you that we’ve been able to continue that work through it all.
Thank you for making our work possible. Thank you for being part of our ever-growing community of artists and audiences. It’s been 10 years now since our first production, and we are still grateful for the opportunity to continue our mission of making affordable, accessible, exciting theatre a part of your life.
In good times, and in hard times. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Josh Short
Founder / Artistic Director
The Wilbury Theatre Group
P.S.
As our way of giving thanks, we’re continuing our tradition of offering 1/2 priced tickets this Thanksgiving weekend. Use the discount code GRATEFUL when ordering your tickets for our upcoming “drive-in” performances of CONSTELLATIONS this weekend and pay just $10/ticket. That discount code is only good from now until Sunday night though, so don’t wait too long to use it!
P.P.S
One more thing, I hope you’ll join us tonight for a special livestreamed performance from the brilliant James Stanley and Jesse Hawley CVK: Clever and Vainglorious Kings – live and in-person from their living room to our Facebook and YouTube pages.
