Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary presents

Homeschool at Oak Knoll – Session 2 (Winter)

6-week series begins Thursday, December 10; additional class dates (all Thursdays): 12/10, 12/17, 1/7, 1/21, 2/4, & 2/11

Attleboro, MA: Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary, 1417 Park Street

Join Oak Knoll naturalists for seasonal 6-week sessions designed for the homeschool community.

Each class is 2.5 hours in length and provides a wonderful opportunity to meet in small pods with other students of similar ages, all while learning science outside in nature.

Winter themes include Energy & Living Systems (December), Geology 101 (January), and Animal Signs (February). A spring session will be offered as well.

While our sessions for younger children have filled, we have space in the 9-12 (9-11:30am) and 13-17 (1-3:30pm) age groups. Pre-registration is required at a first come first served basis and can be completed at

www.massaudubon.org/oakknollprograms

Classes happen mostly outdoors with access to indoor bathrooms, and will adhere to current social distance regulations and mask wearing of all staff and participants.

This program is designed to keep students safe with small ‘pods’ sizes of students who are screened before each class. $150/Mass Audubon member child; $180 nonmember.

Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary presents

Owl Prowl at Oak Knoll

December 12, 2020 (Saturday) 4-5:30pm

Attleboro, MA: Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary, 1417 Park Street

Owl season has arrived! Join us at Oak Knoll to learn about the owls of Massachusetts, starting with an outdoor presentation and owl pellet dissection.

After exploring the science of owls, we will head onto the trails for a night hike to listen for our feathery friends. Sometimes we hear them, sometimes we don’t, but we always have a blast!

For adults and families with children ages 5 and up.

Please dress for the weather and bring a flashlight, as this program takes place entirely outdoors.

Programs are run in small groups and comply with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols.

Preregistration is required for all programs unless otherwise noted and can be completed at

www.massaudubon.org/oakknollprograms

$15/Mass Audubon member, $18/nonmember; add a membership to your registration to use the member price.
