TIVERTON FOUR CORNERS-NEIGHBORHOOD PLAYERS-LOVE LETTERS

“LOVE LETTERS”

Neighborhood Players presets “Love Letters” by A. R. Gurney at The Meeting House. “Love Letters” was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The play centers on two characters, Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III. The pair read the notes, letters and cards in which, over nearly 50 years, they discuss their hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments, victories and defeats.

Neighborhood Players is a theatre-arts group committed to providing locals the opportunity to perform live entertainment for their neighbors, friends, and families. The group was created by Bobby Sylvia, a local actor with 35 years of experience on the stage as well as films and commercials throughout the world. Sylvia may best be remembered locally as Prof. Harold Hill in “The Music Man,” Capt. von Trapp in “The Sound of Music,” and Bert in “Mary Poppins.” Sylvia directs this show, performed by local talent.

Performances are at The Meeting House Lawn in Tiverton Four Corners. For ticket purchase please visit
