THE SUMMER QUARTET
Tiverton Four Corners’ GALLERY at FOUR once again offers its latest exhibition, SUMMER QUARTET in virtual form.
Through state-of-the art interactive 3D photography, this virtual tour allows the public to view over 50 pieces including soothing abstracts from New York artist Margaret Kennedy, and magical still life paintings from Connecticut artist Kathy Coe along with mixed media works and commanding bronze sculpture from gallery favorites Tom Martinelli and Walter Horak.
GALLERY at FOUR was the first Rhode Island gallery to employ such technology and owner/curator Chas. Hickey says “the Covid-19 pandemic has presented unique and unprecedented challenges for us all, and though the gallery is open and observing all safety protocol, the 3D tour offers the perfect opportunity for those who are unable to visit in person, or art enthusiasts from outside the area to experience the work of 4 exceptional artists.”
Matterport 3D technology welcomes visitors for a self directed tour allowing one to pause at artwork, click points for closeups, details, artists’ reflections and to read more about each artist.
A link to the tour can be found on the Home page of the gallery’s website,
and at the GALLERY at FOUR Facebook page. SUMMER QUARTET continues through August 31st.
The gallery is open by appointment on Mondays and from 11-4
Tuesday thru Saturday, Sunday 12-4
