United Regional Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Organization to Distribute Snacks to Local Healthcare Workers
Chaplain Doug Smith bringing in the donation from Foxboro VFW Post 2626 – four full bags.
The United Regional Chamber of Commerce (URCC) is collecting individually wrapped snacks at the Chamber office, 310 South Street, Plainville. The snacks should be something that healthcare workers can easily grab and go — like protein bars, tuna and crackers, or trail mix.
URCC President/CEO Jack Lank says, “We want to thank our local healthcare workers who are the superheroes of this pandemic. They are going above and way, way beyond. Some are taking extra shifts, and some find that their shifts are over 12 hours long. We want to show them that we support them and appreciate everything that they are doing.”
Please stop by the office with your donation. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Friday. The URCC will be collecting these snacks through Friday, May 1.
The URCC Young Professionals Organization board will distribute these snacks to hospitals within our communities.
