RICJ is open… through technology.
In light of the Governor’s directive restricting gatherings and closing programs for children and youth, Rhode Island for Community & Justice is moving to technology to do our work.
We recognize we all need to pull together in order to “flatten the curve” of potential transmission of COVID-19.
Life has changed, but RICJ is still here for you.
Our Youth Action Council will meet virtually – online, by cell and social media. We’ll keep in touch with youth daily. We’re coordinating with other youth programs to share information and resources.
We’re moving to Zoom and similar technologies for virtual meetings.
Our training sessions are moving to computer where possible. More intensive training elements are being postponed for now.
Our staff is mostly working remotely, but always available by email. Please reach out to us!

While it’s not an easy time, by pulling together we’ll get through this together!
We’re facing difficult decisions ahead related to our summer youth leaders and facilitation programs and how to best help juvenile hearing boards serve youth during this crisis.
We are grateful for your kindness and patience. And we thank you with grateful hearts for any support you can provide for our youth and programs. If your heart moves you to give, you can donate HERE .
We’ll always be here for you!
Sincerely,
Toby and the Staff, Board, Volunteers, and especially, the Youth of RICJ
