THEME
Just Like a Woman seeks artwork that speaks to the layers of what it means to be female. A woman’s value, her mystery, her complexity, her beauty, and her possibilities. We celebrate woman from all over the world in their strength and vulnerability. Show us through your perspective women of all ages and stages that reveal aspects of the feminine core.
Open to ALL fine art mediums (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except video.
CALENDAR
Show runs from June 3-14, 2020
JEPGs due by Friday, May 1, 2020
Notification of acceptance by Friday, May 15, 2020
Accepted work drop-off on Monday, June 1 between 9am-5 pm
Accepted work being shipped must arrive by Monday, June 1 and no sooner than Tuesday, May 26, 2020
Reception on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 5-7pm
Pick up unsold work on Monday, June 15 between 9am-5 pm
Work being shipped back will during the week of June 15, 2020
ENTRY FEE
$20 for first entry/$5 for each additional entry, you may enter up to 20 total. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.
ELIGIBILITY
This call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional.
Entry is done through Café, a web-based service that allows artists to upload images and organize their artwork for submissions to galleries. To apply for a call, you must leave our website and go to the Café website at www.callforentry.org where you can create a FREE artist account. You will add your details and upload your images to Café and then you can submit work to JUST LIKE A WOMAN.
